Muff Festival Committee are looking for anyone who would be interested in putting their name forward as a Mayoral candidate in this years Festival 2013. This is an excellent way to raise money for your favourite charity,or your organisation. The committe would like you to submit the candidates name as soon as possible. April. Doors open 9pm. A night of music, fun & games is to be had, with raffle on the night and spot prizes for best dressed in 80’s clothing. A meagre 5 euro entry, with all proceeds towards completion of Muff Community Park.
The numbers draw in this week’s GAA Lotto draw were 6,4,1,5,3,2,7, There was no jackpot winner
but the 100 euro consolation prize went to Ben McDaid, c/o The Rock Bar. Next week’s Jackpot will be 450 euro. The winners in this week’s Parish draw were, Alan Deery, Three Trees, 300 euro, David Doherty, Craig Park, £150, Sarah and Martin Margey, Carry, 100 euro.
Anniversary Mass to-night in the Sacred Heart Church at 7.30pm for Michael Barrett.
The Trocaire collection so far amounted to 4,540 euro and £950. Trocaire boxes can still be returned next weekend.
Hollybush School’s First Holy Communions will take place in the Sacred Heart Church, Muff at 11.00am on Saturday with the result the Iskaheen. Mass on that day will be at 10.00am.

The Parish Pastoral Council will leave a suggestion box in the three churches
over the next 2 weekends. If you have some thoughts on what you think the Pastoral Council should be doing , put your suggestion in the box and it will be considered at a future meeting of the council.
Don’t forget the Church gate collection in aid of the Irish Kidney Association to be taken up this weekend.

As part of the 1,450th anniversary of the departure of St.Columba from Derry to Iona. celebrations the Parish of Templemore has organised ‘ A song for Columba’- composers and musicians are invited to set to music a text attributed to or connected with St.Columba. Entry forms can be had in the sacristy.
