Rutledge Recruitment and Training delivered a programme called “Facing Prejudice” on behalf of Limavady Borough Council’s Good Relationsprogramme.
The purpose of the training was to improve the young people’s life chances by promoting a positive attitude towards diversity. The young people took part in a six-week programme, delivered by a Good Relations Community Practitioner and covered topics including
· Respecting Difference Globally
· Respecting Difference Locally
· Prejudice what is it?
The project aimed to promote equality, through the development of respect for diversity and by raising young people’s awareness about the interdependence of people and institutions.
A presentation of certificates for those who attended the training took place in Limavady Borough Council Offices recently.
