Some of the biggest names in electronic music will converge on Derry at the end of June for Celtronic 2009.
Now firmly established as Ireland's leading electronic music festival, Celtronic 2009 will be the acclaimed festival's ninth edition.
A recent issue of dance music bible, DJ Magazine described Celtronic as 'Northern Ireland's answer to Sonar... a
national treasure.'
Celtronic 2009 will feature some of the biggest names from all areas of quality electronic music.
Headliners include the world's finest house music DJ, Dixon from Innervisions Records, Berlin, electronic maestro Ulrich Schnauss, French electro/techno genius Brodinski, DJ/Remixer du jour, Duke Dumont, live dubstep and electronica from scene leaders Milanese and Boxcutter, a rare live set from Cocoon Recordings Phil Kieran, live folktronica from James Yuill and festival favourite Tom Middleton returns to close the festival alongside London disco heavyweights, Horsemeat Disco. The festival will also feature a selection of the finest Irish DJs and live acts.
The full line-up will be revealed at Deep Fried Funk's residency in the Old Upstairs at Sandinos Bar on Water Street, Derry, next Saturday night, May 16.
