Ceili Club celebrates 25th anniversary with re-union party

Quigley's Point Ceili Club is celebrating its 25th anniversary and will be holding a re-union party in the GAA clubhouse, Ture next Thursday, 18th October.
Celebrations will commence at 8.30 p.m. and all past and present members are very welcome.

The committee of the Cancer Support and Social Club is welcoming all people living with a cancer diagnosis, their friends, careers and relatives to come alo
ng to the Milltown House, Tulnaree, Carndonagh on the second Monday of every month at 7.30 p.m. At this meeting people can talk confidentially about their worries, educate themselves and have some fun. Don't forget bingo in St. Mary's Community Hall every Saturday at 9.15 p.m.

A charity dance in aid of the Irish Kidney Association will be held in the Rock Bar, Muff, on Saturday, 20th. Tickets are available from David or Veronica McGinley, 086 8495145 or 087 9021755 or you can pay at the door. There will be a raffle on the night. Music by Brian Mullen.
If you are caring for an older person, the Carers Development Officer service is the one for you. Information on entitlements, support groups, respite and training will be covered. Contact Diane Donnelly, Carers Development Officer, 087 2770103.

The winter flu vaccine is now available at Moville Health Centre and is free to all Medical Card holders. Special clinics will be held during October. Telephone 9382049 or 9382408 for an appointment as soon as possible.

Self Help Development International's Albert Doherty, Whitecastle will be taking a trip to Kenya beginning on October 21st. The purpose of this trip is for Albert to see where the 30,000 euro he has raised over the last eighteen months is being spent. On his return Albert will be holding a night in Greenbank Hall, Quigley's Point to tell everyone all about his time in Kenya and he will have photographs on show also. Albert would like to thank everyone for their continued support and generosity.

There was no jackpot winner last week in the Quigley's Point Community Centre/ R.C.D. Limited mini lotto draw. The winning numbers were 3, 14, 18, 20 and the four 15 euro winners were Mary Shields, Cross, , Davy Breslin, Drung, Glen Callaghan, Clar and Maeve McLaughlin, Tullyally. The jackpot tonight will be 2,675 euro.
