GAA quiz in McGowan's tonight

The committee of Naomh Padraig GAA club is holding a table quiz in McGowan's Bar, Redcastle tonight at 10 p.m. all proceeds will go towards the purchase of a defibrillator for the local commuinty. A good turnout will be appreciated.
Sincere sympathy is offered to Sean Harkin, Tromaty, Quigley's Point on the recent death of his mother, Cassie. May she rest in peace.

There was no jackpot winner in the Quigley's Point Community Centre/R.C.D. Limited mini lotto draw last week. Wi
nning numbers were 6, 12, 17, 20 and the four 15 euro winners were Graham Doherty, Tullynavin, Barry Doherty, Bankhead, Victor Parke, c/o Callaghan's Bar and Cadhla Mulcahy, Clar. The jakcpot will be 2,525 euro tonight.

The committee of Inishowen Community Radio is holding a training course in radio production techniques for members of the Polish community living in the North West. One session has already been held and the next will take place tomorrow in the studios of I.C.R.fm in Carndonagh from 12 - 3 p.m. Anyone intersted contact Emma or Trudy at the station, 074 9329105 and from the North of Ireland, 00353 749329105. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The course is free and refreshments will be provided. Course notes will be available in Polish and an interpreter will be present.

The Irish Wheelchair Association is seeking volunteers to take part in the annual sponsored international walk next Easter from 19th - 29th March in Arizona. contact Juliette Gallagher, 087 9975459.

Don't forget bingo in St. Mary's Community Hall every Saturday night at 9.15 p.m.

Good Morning Inishowen is keen to extend its present service and start up a Good Evening Inishowen service. This should help make the long winter evenings a little bit shorter and brighter for some of the older people in the Inishowen area. On Tuesdays and Thursdays calls will be made to older people form 5.40 - 6 - 8 p.m. It is hoped this will allow individuals who would like to volunteer but are busy through the day the opportunity to now get involved in this free service for older people in the Inishowen area.

Recruitment of volunteers is now taking place and if you are interested contact Anne at 074 9321598. This project is funded by the European Union INTERREG 111A programme.

A counselling service is available at the Family Resource Centre, Serenity House, Moville. This service is free. Contact Mary McKinney, 9385548 or Billy White, 087 997279.
