Time to get the oars out! A big sponsored row from Derry to Greencastle will take place on Saturday, 5th July leaving Prehen at 9 a.m.
If you fancy the challenge and consider yourself a rower, then this is the perfect opportunity to get out into the water. If you would prefer to stay on dry land, you might want to do a sponsored walk the same day and help to raise money. Join up at
the finishing point at Greencastle pier to meet the rowers and walkers and all other participants to give them a pat on the back and a well deserved bite to eat. An indoor car boot sale will take place this weekend again the Plaza, Buncrana. Doors will open today and tomorrow at 9 a.m. for sellers and 11 a.m. for buyers. All kinds of stalls are welcome old and new, arts and crafts etc. Tables cost 10 euro.

The Iskaheen and Upper Moville Care of the Aged Committee will be holding the annual Church Gate Collection tomorrow and Sunday. All monies collected will go to the Senior Citizens Summer Party, which will be held at the end of July. The committee would like to thank all who have supported them in past years and would very much appreciate their support this year.

A dance in aid of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Research will take place in the Malin Hotel tomorrow night with music provided by sister and brother Sharon and Gary Nixon followed by a disco by PJ the DJ. The ordination of Daniel McFaul will take place in St. Eugene's Cathedral on Sunday, 6th July at 3 p.m. to which everyone is welcome. The celebrations will include decorating his homecoming route from the Red Cross Centre, Muff to Drumskellan via Sacred Heart Church, Muff and St. Patrick's Church, Iskaheen.
