Faughanvale
This weekend will see the seniors play their twelfth league game of the season against Greenlough at home. With only three games remaining this is an importantl match with the two points vital. Throw-in for this game is at 3.30pm so all players are asked to report to the changing rooms at 2.30pm. All support from the community is very much appreciated.
In assossication with the Greysteel Community Festival, Faughanvale GAC will be running the Bernie Burns Cup. The remaining events for this weekend are as follows;
Fri 22nd - 3 mile run 6.15pm Vale Centre. Fri 22nd - Treasure Hunt 7pm Rising Sun. Sat 23rd - U16 Blitz. 2pm - 6pm Vale Centre
Sun 24th - Men’s and Ladies 6pm - 8pm Tug of War and 45’s.
This will take place after the Greenlough game. All support from the community is greatly appreciated.
Senior and Reserve training continues on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the pitch unless otherwise stated at 7pm sharp.
U-16 Blitz on Saturday 23rd Aug at the Vale Centre 2pm - 4pm. All players are asked to report to the Vale Centre for 1.30pm.
U-16 training continues every Monday 6pm-7pm at the Vale Centre

Slaughtmanus
The senior team’s next match is against Ballerin at home on Sunday. Throw-in for this game is scheduled for 5.00pm. All club members are asked to come and support the team.
The reserve team played in the first round of the Intermediate Reserve Championship on Monday away to Claudy. The final score was Slaughtmanus 2-12, Claudy 1-05.
The club is running a Golf Classic on Saturday, 6th September at the Foyle Golf Club. The cost of entry for a fourball is 100. This is followed by a prize presentation that night at Halla an Athar Sean O’Gallcobhair. The club’s Lottery and Bingo continued on Tuesday night when the numbers drawn were 2, 13, 17 & 21. There was no jackpot winner.The 50 winner was Jim Harkin, Lettershandoney. The club lottery continues next week at 1,400. The Bingo snowball remains at 500 on 48 numbers or less. Lotto tickets can be purchased from Cassidy’s Shop, any committee member or at the Bingo on Tuesday night where it is drawn at 8.30pm. Anyone wishing to help with the running of the bingo is welcome to come along.

Doire Colmcille
Training for senior and under 18 players continues on Thursday evenings at 7pm at St. Columb’s College. With a championship match against Magilligan on Saturday all players are asked to make sure they are available. Contact Matt on 07711486537 for further details.
Training for under 12s has resumed at St. Columb’s on Tuesdays from 7.30pm to 8.45pm and Saturday mornings from 10.30am until 12pm.

The jackpot in this week's lotto was 800 with the numbers drawn being 8, 9, 13 and 21. Darren Quinn matched three numbers and wins 50. Next week’s draw rises to 900.
Craigbane
Craigbane Seniors play Kilrea this Sunday afternoon at home, throw-in 3-30pm.
The club is holding their Sports Day this Sunday beginning with the Under 10's Blitz at 11.30am. The boys will use the main pitch and the girls will use the training pitch. At 2.00pm the Under 12s will play Clann na nGael in a friendly. Between 2.45pm and 3.30pm the childrens’ races will commence. St. Joseph’s Acordian Band will play at 3pm while at 3.30pm the Seniors meet Kilrea in the All County Division 2 League. At 5pm there will be Under 8 Football. At 6.30pm its the Novelty match between the ‘Has Beens’ and the ‘Never Has Beens’! Then the Sports will finish off with the Townland Challenge.
Other events will take place are; Mini Golf, Horse Shoe Throwing, Face Painting, Bouncey Castles, Bottle Stall, Envelope stall, Tea Room and Barbeque. Everyone is asked to come along for a great day out!
The Ladies are running a Texas Hold’em tonight in the clubrooms. Next Friday night is ‘Caigbane’s Got Talent’.
There was no Jackpot Lotto winner this week. The numbers drawn were 9, 17, 19 and 21. The 50 Lucky Dip went to Jacqueline O Kane, Sallowilly. Next week’s Jackpot stands at 750.
Sean Dolan’s
The Championship is back as Dolan’s lock horns with Lissan tomorrow (Saturday) at 3.30 p.m. The St. Michael’s club have had a fantastic season winning promotion to the intermediate ranks and will be out to do ‘ the double’ hoping to claim the Championship title. The venue for the game is O’Cahan Park, Dungiven and the club urges all members to come out and support and the senior panel. Players are asked to meet at the clubhouse for 1:30 in advance of travelling to the game.
The Pitch Development Draw has been postponed until Sunday, September 7th due to unforeseen circumstances. The draw will now take place in the clubhouse after the final league game (Drum). We thank all who have purchased tickets in their support for this exciting new development.
The club would like to thank all its members for their patience, as a numbers of schemes are underway to refurbish the interior of the bar/clubhouse. This work shall be completed over the next few weeks, with further announcements as to some of the exciting developments.
The club would like to hear from anyone interested in getting involved. Before you start thinking up reasons ‘why to get involved!’ We are not looking for you to pull on your boots, merely to think as to how you can help in some way and contribute to the future development of your child at Sean Dolan’s. Magilligan
The Willie “Nobby” McLaughlin Memorial Cup, an annual Over 40’s competition in his honor, will be hosted by St. Aidan’s GAC, Magilligan, on Sunday, August 31st. Gates open at 12 noon. Limavady play Glenullan at 1.00 pm, Magilligan plays Sean Dolan’s at 2.30 pm and the throw-in for the final is at 4.00pm.
An underage blitz will be played between the games. The event will be officially opened by the Mayor of Limavady. Cllr. Brenda Chivers.
“Willie Nobby gave a lifetime of service to St Aidan’s GAC and he is sadly missed. He was one of our founding members and played for the senior team up to the 1960’s. For the rest of his life he served on the management committee and was eventually elected a lifetime honorary member. This annual event is a tribute to his memory.”
The Funday will start at 12noon with all the usual entertainment for the children, light refreshments and a barbecue. Admission is 2 per adult.
Information on Club Magilligan will be available at a stall in the clubrooms in advance of the official launch which will be held on Friday, October 3rd at 7.30 p.m. at the club.
