Runners from all city clubs and athletes from a range of sports came together to help launch the race/walk event which will be held on Saturday, September 17th at Templemore Sports Complex to remember all deceased athletes, coaches, footballers and indeed anyone involved in sport of any kind.

The organisers have received the support of athletes and local clubs in their bid to provide a fitting tribute to individuals who have given so much to sport during their lives. This year’s race will pay particular tribute to Ryan Snodgrass (Foyle Valley AC), Packy Deehan (Foyle Valley AC), Paddy O’Donnell (founder of Olympian AC) and Mark Farren (Derry City F.C.).
