Derry City youngsters called up by the Republic of Ireland

Six young footballers who are all members of Derry City’s Under 19 team have been called up by the Republic of Ireland to attend an international training camp.

The Republic’s under age squad has a series of fixtures in the Under 19 UEFA Championship in March.

The players from Derry City pictured here are from the back row left to right Ronan Curtis, Chris Flanagan, Patrick McClean & Georgie Kelly. Front row left to right Joe McIntyre and Aidan McCauley.

The sqaud is coached by former Derry City player Paul Doolin.

On March 25 the team will take on the Czech Republic before travelling to face Germany two days later and on Monday, 30 March they are at home to Slovakia.
