Derry 1-16

UUJ 0-14

Derry beat UUJ by five points in the McKenna Cup under the lights at Celtic Park tonight.

Oak Leaf talisman Paddy Bradley announced his return to inter-county football when he came on as substitute in the second half; the Glenullin club man notched up a goal and a point from play.

Impressive displays by Lavey’s Cailean O’Boyle and Enda Lynn ensured Derry led throughout.

Steelstown GAC player Neil Forrester started the game.

It was an impressive performance by Derry and after winning against Cavan last weekend they remain unbeaten in the competition.
