Title contenders seek positive start as new season kicks-off

The ‘Better Betting’ McBride Racing Derry & District season gets underway this weekend with the top contenders in each Division all vying to make a positive start.

Top of the Hill, who are going for three Premier Division victories on the trot, play Don Boscos while one of the pre-season title favourites, Three Flowers, take on Celtic Swifts in what could well be the match of the day. In the First Division, Bentley’s meet Maydown, Gainsborough play Strand United, Oakgrove face Campbell’s, Culmore travel to Ballymoor and Phoenix take on the A.O.H.
