Doire Trasna V Drum

Drum made hard work of their win over a plucky Doire Colmcille side that rocked them with two early goals. They will find a Doire Trasna team that had a comfortable win over Sean Dolan’s a much more difficult opponent. Could be an early season indicator of potential promotion chances in this one.

Doire Colmcille V Ardmore

Doire Colmcille’s lack of experience proved decisive against Drum as they failed to build on two early goals, although the weather conditions probably did them no favours. In contrast Ardmore were in scintillating form as they ran up a big score against Bellaghy Thirds and they could record another comfortable victory.

Bellaghy Thirds V Magilligan

The Tones were well beaten in Ardmore and don’t look as strong as they were in the last couple of seasons, although they have some very experienced players in their panel. Magilligan got off to a winning start against Magherafelt Thirds and another success would certainly boost their confidence.

Magherafelt Thirds V Sean Dolans

Both these sides slipped to defeat at the weekend and will be determined to get their season back on track. The Rossas have quite a few of their experienced players still on board, but Dolans will want to recover from their defeat against Pearses and could win this one.
