Abercorn have chance to extend lead on league summit

PREMIER DIVISION leaders, Abercorn have an opportunity to extend their lead on the summit when they take on mid-table side, Brandywell Harps at Brandywell Stadium.

Second placed, Oxford United Stars are not in action this weekend therefore, reigning champions, Top of the Hill Celtic have a chance to climb the table as they meet old rivals, Porter’s.

Elsewhere Trojans play an out-of-sorts Culmore; Park Bar host Lisahally while Don Bosco’s and Tristar clash at the central.

In the First Division, leaders Derry City play A.O.H. Harps and in the big match in this league, second placed Crescent play third placed Phoenix. Also in the First Division, The Bentley face Killea N.C.; Maydown host The Rocking Chair; Ballymoor take on Foylebank (former City Herald) and Strand United meet Campbell’s.

Please note that City Herald have now changed their name to Foylebank.

There will be no matches played on Sunday, November 4th dur to the FAI Cup Final involving Derry City and St Patrick’s Athletic.
