THERE were no shocks in Saturday’s Blue Riband Cup Quarter-Finals which saw the expected victories for Westbank United, Brandywell Celtic, Phoenix Swifts and Drumahoe.

There was only one game played in the Premier Division as Foyle Harps defeated Clooney in a seven goal thriller while in the Championship the two bottom sides could not be separated as Northside Albion and Foyle Athletic shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

In the First Division, Gransha Institute are now just five points away from lifting the title after they defeated Strabane Athletic 2-0 in Strabane, a result that put them 20 points clear at the top of the table.
