CREGGAN Swifts ended the challenge of Clifton Villa in last weekend’s Riband Cup clash thanks to a 2-0 victory.

And they will be accompanied in the quarter-finals by Westbank United, Tamnaherin Celtic, The Bentley, Brandywell Celtic and Collon Celtic.

Tamnaherin enjoyed the easiest of passages due to the fact that Oxford United failed to field.

The Bentley knocked out First Division representatives, Hatmore Harps and Brandywell Celtic accounted for First Division side Culmore.

Westbank United had to come from a goal down to over come the challenge of First Division representatives, City Colts by the odd goal in three while Collon Celtic defeated Sion Swifts after extra time.

Meanwhile, in the Premier Division, there were wins for Rosemount and in the Championship Tristar and Drumahoe shared the spoils as Oakleaf Celtic defeated Phoenix Athletic Colts in the First Division.
