JUST one game kicked off the Saturday Morning League Premier Division last weekend, with Clifton Villa defeating Rosemount.

And while the fixture involving Strabane Athletic and Du Pont was called off, Clooney have withdrawn from the league following a series of heavy defeats, ending an era having played in the league for 25 years.

In total, seven games reached a conclusion with Gransha-Institute recording their 11th consecutive victory in the Championship when overcaming the challenge of Sion Swifts.

Collon Celtic hit Drumahoe for six in the game division while Tamnaherin Celtic defeated Art Deco by the odd goal in what was a five goal thriller.

Meanwhile, in the First Division HML returned to winning ways when netting four goals without reply against Foyle Athletic; Culmore beat Oxford United and City Colts enjoyed a good victory over Phoenix Athletic Colts.
