THE race for the title in all three divisions of the Saturday Morning League takes on added significance as the business end of the season approaches.
However, there is one outstanding Blue Riband Cup game to be settled tomorrow morning as First Division representatives, Greysteel Celtic, face Premier Division outfit, Clooney, at Lisnagelvin.
In the Premier Division, Foyle Harps meet Phoenix Swifts in St. Columb’s Park in a game that Phoenix cannot afford to lose while Drumahoe play host to Clifton Villa in a game Villa need to win to remain in contention.
Rosemount who have been playing well in recent games, face the league leaders Westbank United at Prehen and Du Pont play host to Creggan Swifts in Campsie.
In The Championship, Strabane Athletic face Sion Swifts in a Tyrone Derby in Strabane and Newton Heath lock horns with Foyle Athletic at Prehen.
Olympic host the league leaders, Benbradagh, who will be looking to bounce back from their first league defeat last week and that game takes place at the Brandywell Showgrounds.
In the First Division, Culmore welcome Art Deco to The Point and in a real six pointer Collon Celtic take on Tristar at the Templemore Complex. HML, who are also in the title race, take on Collegians at Leafair Park and in the last of the weekend’s action Oxford United welcome Oakleaf Celtic to Thornhill College.
