RONAN Curtis has become the latest member of last season’s Derry City squad to re-sign for the 2016 Airtricity Premier Division campaign.

The 19 year-old midfielder has agreed a two year deal and becomes manager, Kenny Shiels’ FIFTH signing since taking over the Brandywell hotseat earlier this month.

Curtis, who played in last night’s friendly fixture against Institute, follows in the footsteps of goalkeeper, Gerard Doherty who signed a two year contract on Monday afternoon.

Curtis joins Doherty, Conor McCormack, Ryan McBride, Aaron Barry, Patrick McClean, Aaron McEneff and Barry McNamee in Shiels’ squad for the forthcoming campaign.
