Derry City v Limerick game postponed

Derry City’s game SSE Airtricity League Premier Division fixture with Limerick F.C. next week has been postponed due to the team’s involvement in the second qualifying round of the Europa League.

The game, which was scheduled to take place on Friday July 18 in Thomand Park has been postponed as the Candy Stripes take on Belarusian side, FC Shaktar Soligorsk at the Brandywell on Thursday July 17.

A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.

Elsewhere, Sligo Rovers’ fixture with Bohemians, which was due to take place on July 19, has also been postponed as Sligo take on Norwegian side Rosenborg next Thursday also.

Meanwhile, Dundalk, who play Hajduk Split of Croatia on Thursday, July 17, have rescheduled their SSE Airtricity League Premier Division fixture against Athlone Town to Sunday, July 20, at 7pm in Oriel Park. The match had originally been scheduled for Friday, July 18.
