DRUMAHOE caused the only real shock in last weekend’s Riband Cup programme, the Champion side dumping Premier League representatives, Foyle Harps out of the competition in the opening round.

Red Star, Brandywell Celtic and Phoenix Swifts, who got through on penalties, all progress through their ties while in the all-First Division clash, Benbradagh Colts came from 2-0 behind to defeat HML.

Du Pont also progressed following a penalty shoot-out while Westbank United had the easiest passage of all having hammered Championship side Rocking Chair.

Meanwhile, in the Premier Division, Clooney defeated Rosemount and in the First Division, leaders Gransha Institute won again as did Oakleaf Celtic.
