Organisers of this year’s Eamon ‘Bronco’ Bradley and Denis Heaney summer cup competition has urged anyone interested in entering a team to do so as soon as possible.
The Eamon ‘Bronco’ Bradley tournament has been run in the Shantallow area of the city since 1985 and continues to grow from strength to strength.
Last year it was amalgamated with the Denis Heaney sevens competition and proved to be another excellent tournament.
Commenting at the launch of this summer’s competition, organiser, Martin McGilloway expects another big entry of teams.
“This year will be no different and the committee envisage that this year the demand for entry will be just as demanding as other years.
“And I would urge all managers wishing to enter a team to get their entry forms and have them returned as soon as possible as the tournament has always been run on a first come first served basis.”
Entry forms can be collected at the usual outlets. Closing date for entry forms will be Friday, August 3rd with the first round commencing on August 6th with the final to be played on Saturday, August 25th.
