FIVE STAR DROMORE
Drumbo II 0 Dromore Amateurs II 5
DROMORE Amateurs II had an easy 5-0 win at Drumbo II but made hard work of it, missing a host of chances in the first half.
Walsh missed a sitter after five minutes but made up for it two minutes later when he took a pass from strike partner Gibson and coolly slotted his shot past the keeper.
Dromore piled on the pressure and created chance after chance but failed to take them.
The visitors, at last, went two up with a tremendous goal which showed that first team manager Pete Batey's mid-week coaching was paying off.
O'Neill and Brownlee passed their way through the Drumbo defence with a number of short passes before Brownlee took a final pass from Topley and rifled his shot hard and low past the 'keeper.
For the first 10 minutes of the second half Drumbo looked liked making a fight of it, but failed to trouble Dromore 'keeper Humphries.
Dromore gradually took control and a third goal by Walsh wrapped up the points. Gibson took a pass from O'Neill and slammed in number four and then added a fifth which his excellent partnership with Walsh fully deserved. This week Dromore Amateurs II are at home to East Down II at Ferris Park, kick off 2pm.
