Focus shifts to Blue Riband Cup

FOCUS shifts from the battle for League points to the Blue Riband Cup tomorrow morning with 12 ties scheduled, each played to a finish with extra time and penalties coming in to play if required.

First Division side Culmore face a tough test as they face Championship side Benbradagh Colts while Premier Division side Brandywell Celtic take on First Division side Tristar at Prehen. Other First Division versus Premiership clashes see Art Deco take on Rosemount and Phoenix Swifts face Oakleaf Celtic. Drumahoe who have been struggling in the Premiership welcome Championship side Newton Heath to The YMCA while it’s First Division v Championship as Oxford United face Strabane Athletic at Templemore Central.

Greysteel Celtic from the First Division take on Premiership side Clooney, First Division side HML face Championship opposition in the shape of Gransha Institute while, in an all First Division tie, Collon Celtic face Hatmore Harps at Leafair and in an all Championship clash tamnaherin Celtic welcome Northside Stars to Lettershandoney. First Division side Sion Swifts welcome Premiership side Creggan Swifts to Strabane and in the final tie due to be played, Premiership side Du Pont entertain Championship side Foyle Athletic in Campsie.
