Goals Galore in Gilfillan Cup ties

THE GILFILLAN Cup continues to dominate the Saturday Morning League programme with goals galore recorded in last weekend’s programme.
In Group 3 Tamnaherin Celtic had a good win over Collegians while Oxford United defeated Sion Swifts. Westbank United and Collon Celtic both recorded wins in Group 4 while in Group 5 Benbradagh Colts hammered Northside 5-1 while Clifton Villa thumped a demoralised Rosemount 11-1.
In Group 7 Culmore lost at home to Foyle Harps while in Group 8 Creggan Swifts defeated Du Pont 4-2 but Clooney impressed when they hammered Foyle Athletic 10-1.
There was also a league game played in the First Division as HML and Oakleaf Celtic shared the spoils after a 1-1 result.
