LAST weekend’s Saturday Morning League saw 11 games kick-off, fixtures which saw a total of 72 goals scored.

In the Premier Division there were victories for Brandywell Celtic, Phoenix Swifts and, significantly, Westbank United who defeated Clifton Villa 5-1, the Waterside men’s first reversal of the campaign.

Creggan Swifts and Du Pont shared the spoils while Foyle Harps beat Rosemount.

In the Championship the game between Benbradagh Colts and Gransha Institute was lost to a waterlogged pitch but Tamnaherin Celtic and Strabane took maximum points in their fixtures.
