The Derry & District F.A.’s Blue Riband trophy, the McAlinden Cup, will be decided this Sunday morning at Brandywell Stadium as Top of the Hill Celtic and Trojans battle it out in the much anticipated final. (Kick-off 11.30 a.m.)

The 2013/14 season then draws to a close next Friday evening at the Lone Moor Road venue with the Top Four Cup Final up for grabs.

And vying for a place in the last match of the season are Brandywell Harps and Phoenix who meet in the semi-final this Sunday and Top of the Hill Celtic and Culmore who contest the second semi-final at Lisnagelvin on Tuesday next, May 13th.

In Sunday’s McAlinden Cup showpiece, last season’s defeated finalists Trojans take on Top of the Hill Celtic in what’s expected to be a highly entertaining match at Brandywell.

Creggan club, Trojans go into the final in top form and high in confidence after an emphatic 7-1 victory over Lisahally while Top of the Hill Celtic made their way into the final after a nail-biting penalty shootout win over last year’s McAlinden Cup champions, Brandywell Harps.
