A BRACE of goals from Aaron Nash against Abercorn on Sunday helped reigning champions, Top of the Hill Celtic take outright leadership of the Premier Division.

Elsewhere in the top flight Trojans defeated Tristar in a thrilling encounter at St Columb’s Park; Culmore recorded a fine away victory over Lisahally while a last minute goal saw Park Bar defeat Don Bosco’s.

In Division One Derry City secured victory against Strand United to open up a five point gap at the top of the table; Killea recorded an emphatic win against Red Star while the other three games in this division were called off.

Premier Division - Don Bosco’s 1, Park Bar 2; Lisahally 2, Culmore 3; Abercorn 0, Top of the Hill Celtic 3; Tristar 3, Trojans 4; Division One - Red Star 2, Killea N.C. 6; Strand United 1, Derry City 5; Phoenix v The Bentley (postponed); Rocking Chair v Campbell’s (postponed); Ballymoor v Crescent (postponed).

The Ballymoor versus Crescent fixture was called off as Ballymoor failed to get a permit for the match in time and this will be dealt with at Monday night’s meeting. Crescent will be awarded maximum points as a result.
