Oxford United, Brandywell Harps to contest Sunday’s Terry Kelly Cup Final

Brandywell Harps and Oxford United Stars will contest the 2014 Terry Kelly Memorial Cup Final this Sunday at Brandywell Stadium. (Kick-off 5 p.m.)

It promises to be an exciting clash as both teams have been in excellent form of late. Both Brandywell Harps and Oxford progressed to this season’s showpiece after thrilling penalty shootouts in the semi-finals.

Harps caused a major upset in the first round of the competition when knocking out league champions, Park Bar while Oxford sent the holders, Top of the Hill Celtic crashing out of the cup in the earlier rounds.

The final will kick-off at the later time of 5 p.m., however there will also be several league and McAlinden Cup fixtures to be played at 11 a.m.

Those games include the First Round of the McAlinden Cup where Culmore meet Culmore Colts, Lisahally take on Derry City in Strathfoyle and Tristar go head-to-head with Ballymoor.

And just one match in the top eight section of the league has been scheduled with Top of the Hill Celtic taking on Abercorn in Lisnaglevin.
