Park Bar put Derry City to the sword in superb victory at St Columb’s Park

PARK Bar and Brandywell Harps were the big winners in the Derry & District F.A. Premier Division at the weekend as they both secured emphatic victories.

Park have bounced back from an indifferent start to the season and they put Derry City to the sword on Sunday as they romped to a 3-0 win.

And Brandywell Harps inflicted a heavy 4-0 defeat on Lisahally who continue to struggle to kick-start their campaign following a poor start.

Also in the top flight, Top of the Hill Celtic and Trojans shared the spoils in an entertaining encounter at Lisnagelvin.

In the First Division meanwhile, Tristar registered the biggest win of the weekend with a 9-1 demolition of Culmore Colts.

Elsewhere, Phoenix netted five in their win over Don Bosco’s while O’Diochan’s secured a huge 8-2 win over Ballymoor in Prehen.

Finally in the last remaining Terry Kelly Cup first round clash to be played, Campbell’s emerged victorious with a narrow win over Culmore.
