Premier Division leaders, Park Bar returned to winning ways with an emphatic victory over Campbell’s on Sunday to extend their lead on the top.

It was a much needed win for Park after successive defeats which included a damaging loss to nearest rivals Derry City last weekend.

Derry City were not in action at the weekend, therefore this victory will give Park much needed breathing space on teh summit.

Elsewhere in the top eight section, Brandywell Harps continue to keep pace with the leading teams with an impressive win over Abercorn. There were five different scorers for Harps as they easily brushed aside the challenge from Abercorn. And Top of the Hill Celtic returned to winning ways with victory over Trojans.

Meanwhile, Phoenix recorded a long overdue win against Culmore Colts in a bottom seven encounter.

Crescent failed to field a team against Culmore therefore Culmore were awarded a 2-0 win.

The Terry Kelly Cup first round tie between Oxford and Lisahally was postponed as a mark of respect to former club member, Mary Doherty who passed away recently.

May she rest in peace.
