THE PREMIER Division title race will go right down to the final match of the season this Thursday night as Sunday’s fixture involving rivals, Park Bar and Top of the Hill Celtic failed to produce a winner.

Current leaders, Park Bar needed a victory over the reigning champions to claim the title but both sides failed to score.

Also in the Premier Division at the weekend, Porter’s defeated Trojans to keep their chances of survival alive.

In the First Division Campbell’s made it 12 wins on the trot when they defeated Phoenix to secure promotion and Crescent defeated The Bentley to finish third.

In the McAlinden Cup Culmore defeated Lisahally on penalties while Ballymoor also navigated their way successfully through a penalty shootout against A.O.H. Harps to book their place in the next round. Elsewhere, Abercorn defeated Oxord Stars 2-0.

Fixtures - Thursday, April 18th - Park Bar v Don Bosco’s; Top of the Hill Celtic v Oxford Stars (Venues yet to be decided).

Speedy Recovery

Everyone connected with the Derry & District F.A. would like to wish Oxford United Stars’ Steven Kivlehan a speedy recovery after he broke a fibula bone in his leg on Thursday night.
