Premier Division title to be decided this weekend

THE DESTINATION of the Premier Division trophy will be decided on Sunday as Top of the Hill Celtic hope to claim a record third consecutive title with victory over Lisahally.

Three Flowers, however, still have a chance of spoiling the party for the Waterside men as they sit just a single point behind and can lift the title if they manage to defeat Trojans and Top of the Hill slip up in Lisnagelvin.

Meanwhile, in the McAlinden Cup quarter-finals all remaining Premier Division sides will face First Division opposition for a place in the last four.

Tirstar take on Oxford, The Bentley host Brandywell Harps, Don Bosco’s meet Campbell’s and Strand United play Abercorn.

Fixtures - Premier Division - (Kick-off 11 a.m.) - Top of the Hill Celtic v Lisahally (Lisnagelvin One); Three Flowers v Trojans (St Columb’s 3); McAlinden Cup quarter-finals - (Kick-off 11.30 a.m) - The Bentley v Brandywell Harps (Ardmore); Tristar v Oxford United Stars (Brandywell); Strand United v Abercorn (Showgrounds); Don Bosco’s v Campbell’s (Swilly).

All cup ties must be played to a finish. Extra-time and penalties will be played if required.
