Tamnaherin Celtic shocked holders Clifton Villa to claim a Gilfillan Cup semi-final sport on a busy weekend of Bentley Bar North West Saturday Morning League fixtures.

In the Premier Division, Westbank moved three points clear at the top of the table after defeating Creggan Swifts in a pulsating game at The Showgrounds while Rosemount also had a good win over Du Pont with HML and Bentley sharing the spoils in a 2-2 draw.

In the Championship, Foyle Harps moved clear at the top thanks to their 12-goal demolition of Artigarvan while Foyle FC got their second win of the season by getting the better of Tristar in a nine goal thriller. Newton Heath needed a late winner to see off Phoenix Athletic Colts and Dungiven and Clooney shared the spoils in a 3-3 draw.

Meanwhile, it was announced Creggan Swifts manager Declan Divan will be taking charge of The NWSML representative team in the upcoming games with Inishowen League
