Non-Payment of Fines
Two First Division teams have yet to pay fines and the clubs involved have until January 7th, 2013. They will be given match fixtures but will lose points until the fines are paid. The Bentley, George’s Bar and Ballymoor were all fined on Monday night for not submitting reports of their games on Sunday, December 9th into the papers.
The Derry & District F.A. are now taking a break until January 13th. The next meeting will be held on Monday, January 7th. The chairman James Crossan wished all the managers, players and referees a very happy Christmas.
Everyone connected with Lisahally F.C. would like to express their condolences to the family and friends of Hugo McKinney who sadly passed away on Monday. Hugo’s two sons, Kevin and the late Odhran played for the club for many years. Indeed everyone connected with the Derry & District would like to express their sympathy to the McKinney family at this sad time.
May he rest in Peace.
