Terry Kelly Memorial Cup takes centre stage on Sunday

THE quarter-finals of the Terry Kelly Memorial Cup take pride of place this weekend with three of the four ties down for decision on Sunday in the Derry & District F.A. programme.
Cup favourities, Three Flowers host First Division representatives, Culmore; The Bentley entertain Tristar at Ardmore while in another all-Premier Division fixture, Brandywell Harps and Don Bosco’s lock horns in Brandywell Stadium.
Meanwhile, in the Premier Division Top of the Hill Celtic can open up a four points gap on the summit if they defeat Porter’s while Trojans face Celtic Swifts.
In Division One, Oxford can move 10 points clear if they can overcome Phoenix; Crescent entertain Ballymoor and Campbell’s face A.O.H. Harps.
Terry Kelly Cup Quarter-Finals - The Bentley v. Tristar, Ardmore; Brandywell Harps v. Don Bosco’s, Brandywell Stadium and Three Flowers v. Culmore, Showgrounds.
The Lisahally v. Oxford United Stars quarter-final will be played on Sunday, February 12th in Strathfoyle.
Premier Division - Top of the Hill Celtic v. Porter’s, Lisnagelvin 4; Trojans v. Celtic Swifts, Oakland.
Division One - Crescent v. Ballymoor, St. Columb’s 2; Oxford v. Phoenix, Lisnagelvin 2; Campbell’s v. A.O.H. Harps, Prehen 5.
All games must kick-off at 11.30 a.m. and all cup ties must be played to a finish.

All those associated with the Derry & District F.A., extend sincere sympathy to the friends and families of Bernadette O’Neill and Jean McCourt who both sadly passed away recently.

Semi-Finals
At last Monday’s meeting the draw for the semi-finals of the Terry Kelly Memorial Cup were made and it resulted as follows - Three Flowers or Culmore v. Lishally or Oxford United Stars; The Bentley or Tristar v. Brandywell Harps or Don Bosco’s.
The draw was also made for the first round of Derry & District F.A.’s Blue Riband Trophy, the McAlinden Cup and it resulted - Culmore v. Three Flowers; A.O.H. Harps v. Brandywell Harps; Abercorn v. Porter’s and Trojans v. Top of the Hill Celtic.
The following teams received byes - Strand United, Tristar, Don Bosco’s, Oxford United Stars, Campbell’s, Ballymoor, Phoenix, Lisahally, Celtic Swifts, Maydown and Crescent.
