Three Flowers Miss Out On Premier Division Leadership

THREE Flowers missed out on an opportunity to take over the leadership of the Premier Division when held to a draw by Don Bosco’s on Sunday, Top of the Hill Celtic, therefore, remain in pole position with a game in hand.

Meanwhile, in the only other game in the top flight, Peter Doherty struck a hat-trick in the 4-1 defeat of Tristar.

In the First Division leaders, Oxford United Stars, consolidated their seven points lead when overcoming the challenge of A.O.H. while Culmore moved clear in second spot when they defeated Maydown.

Phoenix had to settle for a point when they entertained Oakgrove, The Bentley defeated Ballymoor while the match involving Strand United and Campbell’s saw six goals shared between the teams.

The Premier Division matches involving Brandywell Harps and Abercorn and Trojans and Porter’s were both postponed.

Sunday’s results - Premier Division - Three Flowers 1, Don Bosco’s 1; Tristar 2, Lishally 4.
