Tristar seeking to close the gap on division’s pacesetters

WITH THREE Flowers not in action this weekend, reigning champions Top of the Hill Celtic can steal a march at the top if they manage to defeat third placed, Tristar on Sunday.

Elsewhere in the top division, Don Bosco’s face Brandywell Harps ; Lisahally travel to play Abercorn; Celtic Swifts meet Trojans and Porter’s face Downey’s.

The draw was made at Monday night’s meeting for the second round of the Terry Kelly Cup and resulted as follows: Ballymoor v Oxford Stars/A.O.H. Harps; Lisahally v Maydown; Celtic Swifts v The Bentley; Brandywell Harps v Phoenix; Three Flowers v Trojans; Oakgrove v Culmore; Don Bosco’s v Gainsborough; Tristar v Top of the Hill.

It is hoped to play these ties on Sunday, November 13th.
