UNDER 13'S FALL AT HOME TO TOLLYMORE

Dromore Amateurs U13's 3 Tollymore 5

DROMORE faced their hardest match of this year's campaign and came out on the wrong end of a 5-3 score line.

They made a perfect start scoring with only three minutes on the clock pressing Tollymore into their own half. The opening goal was supplied via a corner and slotted passed the keeper by Philip Allen .

Unfortunately for the locals this was as good as it got as it was all Tollymore from this point to the half as they grabbed a deserved equalizer.

Constant pressure seen Dromore sit deep in their own half inviting their opponents on and only for Walsh in goals who was having a superb game they would have been trailing at the break.

The second half got under way and the turning point in the game coming after a hotly disputed Tollymore goal.

Heads were down and confidence shattered and worse came for the locals as goals three more goals followed as heads dropped. With the game more or less decided as a contest Dromore introduced Hunt, Hooke , Galloway, Harrison and Elliott.

This seemed to inject some fresh life into the team and striker Neill scored two fine goals in the dying minutes to test the nerves of the Tollymore players.

As time ran out Dromore kept pressing and for the first time in the game they were playing the football that has seen them maintain a position in the top half of the table. Man of the match sponsored by Square Movies Dromore – Robert Green.
