CLIFTON Villa remain three points clear of the chasing pack in the Premier Division of the Saturday Morning League following their victory over Creggan Swifts last weekend.
But with all fancied teams recording wins, Westbank United’s comprehensive defeat of lowly Strabane Athletic sees them continue their strong challenge in the race for the Premier Division title.
Westbank have recoreded victories in their opening five league games and they are ominously positioned in third spot with no fewer than three games in hand over the current leaders, Waterside representatives, Clifton Villa.
