Derry progress to McKenna Cup semis

Derry booked a place in the McKenna Cup semis after beating Donegal 1-8 to 0-9 at MacCumhaill Park.

Conleth Gilligan scored an early penalty for Derry and though Donegal lead at the break, four unanswered second half points saw Derry through.

They now play Down in Armagh in the semis on Sunday.
