The recent Donegal Senior Ladies outing took place at North-West Golf Club on Monday, August 13th last with local ladies dominating the prize list.

Mary Talbot recorded the “shot of the day” when recording a hole-in-one at the par three 16th hoe, “The Fairy.”
The final outing of the season will be played at Donegal Golf Club, Murvagh, on Monday, September 7th next.
On Thursday, August 9th, Greencastle Ladies hosted a Singles Stroke event and the winner was Antoinette Hegarty (22) with a fantastic 65 nett.

Last Thursday’s competition was the Centenary Rose Bowl and two ladies tied on 37 points. Nine handicapper Lucia Mullen came out on top with Helena Doherty (20) having to settle for the runners-up spot. Margaret Dolan finished one point adrift.
Next Thursday’s competition is a Ladies Open 18 holes Stableford and places can be reserved by contacting the club.
The winner of last week’s ladies competition at Strabane was Roisin Corry (31) with an excellent 41 points.
Ann Sharkey (19) took the category one prize with 35 points with the category two prize going to Lorna Duffy (26) with 39 pts.
Lady Captain, Noreen McNally, is hosting her annual outing tomorrow (Saturday) to Greencastle with the bus leaving the clubhouse at 8.00 a.m. sharp.
Mr. Padraic Munnelly’s Presidents Prize to the Letterkenny Ladies Branch attracted a huge entry and the final “major” of the year was won in style by Elaine Russell with 40 points.
