Alison wins Kipling Cup Open at Prehen

Ailson Elkin (10) recorded an excellent score of 42 points to secure the Quigg’s Florist sponsored, Kipling Cup Open competition at City of Derry Golf Club last Tuesday.

Alison romped home ahead of Rosie Short (25) who took second place with 40 points.

Mary McGroary claimed top prize at Wednesday’s Open at Lisfannon.

Mary also recorded a hole in one at the 16th to mark a memorable day.

Foyle Ladies

Seventeen year-old Loren Smallwoods from Faughan Valley took top honours at the Foyle Ladies Open last Thursday, returning a tremendous score of 44 points.

There was a terrific turnout with 110 ladies and gents competing for the popular prize.
