City of Derry Tennis Club will be hopeful their representatives can retain their respective league titles when the season gets underway.

The club’s A Men’s team won the Autumn League for the first time last February while the Men’s B team captured the Summer League last season.

The North West of Ireland Tennis League includes teams from Limavady, Derry, Letterkenny, Ballycastle, Ballybofey, Omagh, Ramelton, Donoughmore, Ballycastle, Culdaff, Burt and Milford.

The Summer Leagues start during the week beginning May 16th next.

The club train at St Columb’s Park on Saturday afternoons and on Monday and Thursday evenings. Children’s coaching takes place at the Park on Saturday mornings.

City of Derry is the only tennis club in the city affiliated to Tennis Ireland. It competes in the North West Tennis League and a number of players have represented their county. For more information on the club and coaching programmes visit cityofderrytennis.co.uk
