Darts legend Phil ‘The Power’ all set for exhibition at the Guildhall

Excitement is growing for local darts fans in the City with the legendary Phil Taylor hosting an exhibition on February 22nd at the Guildhall.

Taylor, who is seen as one of the greatest players to play the game, has earned an impressive number of accolades throughout his career.

With 16 World Championships and a record three nine dart finishes in the 2010 Premier League Darts final against James Wade, being some of the many memorable highlights in his distinguished career.

Fans in Derry, for the first time, will get the chance to see the legendary darts player in action when he hosts an exhibition at the Guildhall in two weeks time.

A special draw will take place with one lucky member of the audience winning the chance to take on the 16 time world champion!

John McCloskey, Chairman of the Estate Services Darts League, was delighted that Taylor would be arriving in the city.

“He’s an iconic figure in the game and holds the world record for world titles - a record which will probably never be beaten.

“He will be a great influence for darts players in Derry and there will be a massive demand for tickets.”
