Martin Secures Christmas Dinner at Lisfannon!

WHEN Martin Glenn failed to score on the opening hole at North-West in last Satudray’s Christmas Fayre competition, the 20 handicapper will not have fancied his chances.

However, he immediately regrouped and proceeded to play the next eight holes in three over gross for an opening nine holes total of 22 points.

Martin then proceeded to add a further 18 points on the way home to return the top score of 40 points and secure the traditional turkey and ham for his Christmas dinner.

The runner-up, one shot adrift, was Michael Fitzpatrick (9) who was only one over gross on the back nine, needing just a bogey on the 18th hole to claim victory. However, he recorded a disappointing double bogey and had to settle for second spot.

The C.S.S. was 35 pts.
