PT’s Kickboxing Gym will stage the biggest World Kickboxing and K1 Championships ever to be held in Ireland at ‘The Venue’ on November 9th next.

The top class promotion, which is part of the City of Culture celebrations, will be headlined by ISKA professional super heavyweight world champion, Daniel ‘Pinta’ Quigley.

The Derry man will fight for the prestigious ISKA K1 super heavyweight title (low kicks and knees) on the night.

And should he claim victory, Quigley will be presented with the opportunity to compete in the lucrative ‘K1 Glory’ tournament next year.

There will also be another three professional ISKA World titles and three European belts on the line at the Ebrington venue.

Other local fighters in action on the night include former two-time ISKA Irish and European and IKF Kickboxing champion and now K1 fighter, Aaron “The Real Deal” McCarron.

And current ISKA light-middleweight champion, Aidan “Lights Out Lafferty will be involved in one of the best line-ups a Paddy Toland promotion has ever staged.

Historic

Reigning women’s professional ISKA three-time World Kickboxing champion, Natalie McCarron will be seeking her fourth world professional title on the bill.

Should she win, the Carrigans fighter will become the first ever kickboxer (male or female) in the history of the sport to hold four world professional titles at four different weights simultaneously.

Also included in the lineup will be K1 professional Vaidas Natkus, former ISKA Irish Junior lightweight champion, Jay “Stingray” McVeigh, current ISKA European Junior champion Damien “Kid Dynamite” Duddy, who will be fighting for the World Amateur Junior Kickboxing title.

Former Commonwealth middleweight champion, Tomas Logue; current Irish Junior Middleweight champion Brian “Bam Bam” Houston and Junior K1 fighter Daryl White will also feature in the much anticipated show.

PT’s promoter, Sean McGill has urged those interested in attending the tournament to get their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

“This tournament is history in the making and a fantastic opportunity for the people of Ireland to see at first hand the amazing talent in the North West and some of the best kickboxer’s and K1 fighter’s in the World in their own backyard,” he said.
