Entry deadline on the horizon

The countdown clock to a new season of team tournament snooker under the auspices of the North-West of Ireland Amateur Billiards & Snooker Association is ticking a little faster as the deadline for entries edges closer ( August 31st).

Another busy league and knockout cup campaign is in the pipeline, as the Association will again promote seven team competitions, the details of which as follows - Premier League - Three players per team. Each player plays two frames (no handicap). Entry fee £20 per team.

Premier KO Cup - Three players per team. Each player plays two frames (no handicap). Entry fee £20 per team.

Handicap League - Division One and Two - Five players per team. Each player plays single frame. Organised under handicap system (player points range from scratch to plus 30). Entry fee £20 per team.

Senior KO Cup - Five players per team. Each player plays single frame under handicap system (same points as Handicap League). Entry fee £20 per team.

Intermediate KO Cup - Five players per team. Each player plays single frame under handicap system (scratch players not eligible to compete). Entry fee £20 per team.

Junior KO Cup - Five players per team. Each player plays single frame under handicap system (confined to players plus 20 upwards). Entry fee £20 per team.

Pairs KO Cup - Six players per team (divided into three pairs). Each pair plays two frames under handicap system. Entry fee £20 per team.
