Playing off 24 Mr Houston carded 43 points to win by a margin of three from his nearest challengers.

The split of the score was 22/21 and Mr Houston’s play was so sound that he even had room to err at the difficult 11th, “Prehen”. However, he made up the dropped shots when he registered a four-point par at the stroke index one, “Aintree”!

Michael McDaid (9) continued his Saturday form and took second prize with 40 points while big-hitting Kevin Quigg had to be content with third place with his 40 point total. Lester Moore took the Gross Prize with 37 points.
