Coleraine and Fox Lodge led the way; the ‘Bannsiders’ setting their hosts a massive 346 before finding themselves holding on at the end as the ‘Foxes’ threatened a shock.

Champions Brigade were humbled at Bready mainly due to the hosts’ professional, Agha Sabir Ali, while title favourites Limavady were second best in Strabane as the ‘Red Caps’ overseas man Faisal Iqbal continued to impress.

Creevedonnell got their points tally up and running with a vital win over a disappointing Glendermott while Donemana made it two from two proving too strong for Bond’s Glen.

In the first round of the Senior Cup, Ardmore posted a very impressive win at Drummond to book a second round tie away at Burndennett.
