North West Orchestra set for Alley performance

The North West Community Orchestra (NWCO) is set for its inaugural performance at the Alley Theatre, Strabane, supported by Harte and McGarrigle on June 5th at 8pm.
The exciting new string ensemble consists of professional musicians and instrumental tutors from Tyrone, Derry, Donegal and Fermanagh.

John Kerr, Alley Theatre Manager, said: “They are putting together an exciting programme of music that will be familiar not just to lovers of classical music but music in general; there is something here for everyone. I dare anyone not to be uplifted by the sound of strings played at this level.”

The NWCO hope to be come an established brand name synonymous with high standards of music making in the North West.
